How to Use a Photon Art? If a weapon has a Photon Art, it can be activated by charging up a normal or heavy attack. After a certain amount of time has passed, you'll see a brief glow projectld gold and sound effect that signifies the Photon Art is ready to use.
Simply release the button and your character will perform the move. Please remember that using a Photon Art requires PP. Be sure to check to the charts below to see the PP cost for each Photon Art.
Photon Arts Availability: Photon Arts are considered to be an attribute of the weapon. A weapon may or may not have one. If it does, it will have only one and that Photon Art cannot be changed. Check the details of the item to see whether it has been assigned one.
The Photon Art a weapon may receive will vary. Each weapon category has three possible Photon Arts. Some weapons maybe limited one or two of the possible Photon Arts, while others may have no restrictions.
Be sure to check the Item Database to see which Photon Arts are available to a specific weapon.
